The Local Governance (Scotland) Bill was introduced on 21 November 2003 [Session 2]
This was a Government Bill. Government Bills before September 2012 were known as Executive Bills.
The Bill was passed on 23 June 2004 and became an Act on 29 July 2004
If the Bill is passed by MSPs, it can then get Royal Assent and become an Act.
