The Scottish Government has published guidance for teaching staff which focuses on supporting positive behaviour and includes advice on prevention and de-escalation of incidents. The latest iteration of our longitudinal Behaviour in Scottish Schools Research will report in the Autumn.
We have produced guidance for local authorities and schools to promote positive relationships and manage behaviour, including de-escalation of violent behaviour. We are also investing £2 million of funding to support violence prevention activities within schools and communities.
The following table shows the number of people screened for diabetic retinopathy in each month between January 2019 and July 2021. The Diabetic Eye Screening (DES) programme was paused between 30 March 2020 and 6 July 2020.
