Our low carbon aspirations are currently focussed on technology change and voluntary behaviour change. The former is illustrated by our promotion of low carbon vehicles and intelligent transport systems; the latter by our investment in public transport and active travel.

To ask the Scottish Executive how many local authority tenants who have breached their antisocial behaviour order have had court proceedings taken against them, this year and in each of the last five years, broken down by local authority area.
They came together under the common ground accord, which sets a standard for respectful behaviour throughout the upland deer management sector, and encourages participants to keep an open mind, listen to understand, engage honestly and work towards mutually beneficial solutions.
People might think that, in the political landscape, their constituency or regional MSP does not have the same clout to hold the Government to account and to challenge and change behaviour. That relates to the convener’s question about independence and whether that is central to the commissioner role.
