Wendy Alexander should note that that London-based accountancy group admits that we have a set of economic circumstances in Scotland that are different from those in the south-east of England. In my view, the Bank of England should be renamed the Bank for England, because it has done nothing for Scotland.

I welcome the minister's answer, but I suspect that many in the industry are looking for a more specific date. Can he tell us when export markets, which have been closed for a long time, will open as a consequence of ending the over-30-months scheme?
