Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme

That the Parliament welcomes the decision of the Scottish Government to implement the recommendations in the publication, Clinical Review of the Impacts of Hepatitis C: Short Life Working Group Report for the Scottish Government, and calls on the Scottish Government to increase the budget of the Scottish Infected Blood Support Scheme by at least £1.5 million to ensure regular support payments to those with chronic hepatitis C who are severely or moderately affected are sufficient to meet their needs and the legacy impact of the infections.
