That the Parliament congratulates the Glasgow restaurant, Cail Bruich, on winning Scottish Restaurant of the Year at the 2023 AA Hospitality Awards; understands that the head chef, Lorna McNee, and senior chef de partie, Lewis, picked up the award for the restaurant, the name of which means "eat well" in Gaelic; notes that Cail Bruich is famed for its five-to-seven-course tasting menus, using the best local Scottish or British produce; acknowledges that the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2021 when, it understands, Lorna became the first and only female solo chef in Glasgow to have the honour, and recognises that the Great Western Road eatery, which also boasts three AA Rosettes, was first opened in 2008 by brothers Chris and Paul Charalambous, and is a firm favourite with locals and those from further afield.
