Asda Foundation Awards Grants Across West Scotland

That the Parliament recognises the work of local groups in the West Scotland region that have received grants from the Asda Foundation; understands that each project supported by the Asda Foundation is nominated by the people and communities that each store serves; further understands that well over £10,000 was awarded to groups in the West Scotland region as part of over £800,000 that has been awarded across the whole of the UK; notes that Asda Bearsden awarded £800 to the 183rd Bearsden Scout Group; further notes that Asda Bishopbriggs awarded £995 to Love Milton Ltd, £500 to Deafblind Scotland, £400 to Milton Rattlers, £592 to the 175th Glasgow (1st Bishopbriggs) Scout Group, and £400 to both West Park Navy and Sky 2013s; notes that grants from Asda Clydebank were awarded to Somewhere In Between, which received £400, and Our Lady of Loretto Parent Council, which received £1,000; further notes that Asda Dumbarton awarded grants to Tullochan, which received £576, Helensburgh Art Hub, which received £600, and Milton Village Community Group, which received £400, and wishes all these groups every success in the work that they do in their local communities.
