Kilmarnock Pizzeria Rising through the Ranks

That the Parliament congratulates A Slice Neapolitan Pizzeria on becoming a finalist in the Best Takeaway in Scotland in the Just Eat Restaurant Awards; understands that the awards champion passion, dedication and above all unforgettable food; notes that former hospitality manager, Simonas Griauzde, and professional chef, Carmine Barretta, put their passion for pizza into practice by opening the takeaway in early September 2022; understands that Carmine’s generations-old family recipe and techniques originated in Naples and that A Slice Neapolitan Pizzeria’s mission is to bring authentic Italian slices to Kilmarnock and the surrounding areas; commends Simonas and Carmine on their partnerships with other local businesses such as Ayrshire Signs and Graphics, who designed and manufactured the signage for the shop front, and Arran Dairies Ltd, whose locally produced ice cream is available for purchase from the pizzeria; commends the staff and owners of A Slice Neapolitan Pizzeria on their hard work to put the Kilmarnock Pizzeria in the national spotlight within three months of opening, and wishes them all the best at the awards ceremony in February 2023 and beyond.
