That the Parliament congratulates Harajuku Kitchen of Bruntsfield, Edinburgh, on winning the Best Japanese Restaurant in Scotland award at the sixth annual Asian Restaurant Awards held at the Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh; notes that Harajuku Kitchen is a multi-award winning restaurant, including two AA Rosettes and Golden Chopsticks Awards; understands that it specialises in authentic Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi and gyoza, which follow traditional family recipes that have been passed down for three generations; notes that it has expanded its operation to open a new pop-up street food shack at St James’ Quarter, offering a street food version of its restaurant, and wishes owner Kaori Simpson and her team continued success for the future.
