  • Submitted by: Dr Pam Gosal MBE, West Scotland, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 18 May 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-04444

That the Parliament commends the installation of art at the Clydebank Health and Care Centre; understands that the art focuses on the natural landscape of the area, including the famous riverside, and incorporates the industrial heritage of Clydebank; notes that Jackie Sands, who it understands is the Health Improvement Senior for Arts and Health at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, supported the Health and Social Care Partnership’s Arts and Environment Strategy Group with the commissioning of the integrated works; believes that the display is welcoming, therapeutic and connected to its unique locality to ensure a more rounded experience for patients, and applauds the efforts and commitment of local residents and artists, who it understands, all helped in creating the artworks.
