That the Parliament congratulates Greycations on being named the winner in the private dog home category in the Corporate Livewire Scotland Prestige Awards; understands that the dog boarding business for sighthounds is run by Sharon Robertson, from Wemyss Bay, with the awards recognising small and medium-sized businesses which have shown that they are the best in their market over the past 12 months; notes that Sharon will officially collect the title at an awards ceremony in Edinburgh, should COVID-19 restrictions allow; commends Sharon for her work with organisations such as the Greyhound Trust West Scotland, the Greyhound Awareness League and the Scottish Greyhound Sanctuary; appreciates that Sharon was able to launch Greycations in August 2019 with help from Business Gateway; believes that this highlights the importance of Business Gateway in supporting people to change their careers and open up their own businesses, and wishes Sharon and her business well for the future.
