David Scott: Finalist at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards

That the Parliament recognises the phenomenal achievement of David Scott on becoming a 2021 finalist at the Scottish Apprenticeship Awards; pays tribute to his enthusiasm and positive work ethic at Aviva, Bishopbriggs; understands that his employment forms part of the blended learning approach of the BSc in IT: Software Development Apprenticeship at the University of the West of Scotland; acknowledges David's willingness to be such a positive role model for those considering alternative training paths to full-time university-based study; agrees that gaining industry-based experience alongside study can be extremely valuable to individuals, businesses and the wider economy, and sends David every best wish for continued fulfilment and success in his career path.
