That the Parliament congratulates Balquhidder Community Broadband on winning the Best Countryside Digital Innovator category at the Scottish Rural Awards 2020; notes that the community project has brought world-class broadband connectivity to the Balquhidder area, where connection can be severely limited, with little or no 3G or 4G access, and believes that the innovative approach taken by this community organisation to deliver reliable and future-proof broadband has provided people and businesses with an important lifeline, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
