That the Parliament congratulates Big Hearts and LOVE Gorgie Farm for coming together during the COVID-19 outbreak to help the most vulnerable people in the community by being able to address any gaps in support that people are facing; understands that Big Hearts, a family-focused charity that aims to improve the lives of people who are at risk of social isolation, is sharing referrals for food provisions with LOVE Gorgie Farm’s foodbank, which is coordinating the initiative since it temporarily closed its doors to the public due to COVID-19; further understands that, in addition to running the foodbank, Gorgie Farm has been undertaking a volunteered initiative to deliver free breakfast every morning to children in the community amid school closures, and thanks all those involved for their tremendous efforts during this challenging time.
