That the Parliament congratulates Rachel Evans from Shapinsay in Orkney on winning the inaugural Uspardie Trophy for outstanding achievement at the Equikro British Dressage Scotland Ball 2019; understands that the Uspardie Trophy has been gifted by Karen Dewar in memory of her horse, Uspardie, to recognise the outstanding efforts of an amateur rider who has achieved something extraordinary and has inspired others through their achievements; acknowledges that Rachel regularly travels from Shapinsay to the Scottish mainland so that she can train and compete; considers that her incredible commitment has led to her selection for the Scotland team, as well as numerous individual successes; congratulates Rachel on her dedication and hard work, which have been recognised with this prestigious award, and wishes Rachel every future success for her upcoming competitions and beyond.
