That the Parliament welcomes the BBC Disclosure documentary, Can cannabis save my child?, which recognises the plight of Karen Grey, whose son, Murray, has drug-resistant epilepsy and is unable to access the drug, Bedrolite, through the NHS; commends the documentary’s support for Karen’s cause, recognising a pressing need to consider what it sees as the overwhelming evidence that Bedrolite has the potential to halt Murray’s seizures; applauds the programme’s efforts to highlight the obstructions in getting a Bedrolite NHS prescription; acknowledges Karen and Murray’s ongoing struggle, and hopes that the documentary will generate substantial public and political support to facilitate change.
