That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian school and area bands on their recent successes in the Scottish Concert Band Festival final; understands that the final was held in Perth Concert Hall and included bands that achieved a Gold award or higher in the regional heats; notes that West Lothian School’s Wind Ensemble won a Gold Plus Award in the Advanced Youth Band Class, Deans Community High School Cluster Brass Ensemble won a Gold Award in the Ensemble Class, with the school's Wind Band winning a Gold Award in the Achieving School Band Class; further notes that, in the Advanced School Band Class, West Calder High School Senior Band won a Silver Plus Award, while The James Young High School Senior Band received a Gold Award; recognises the musical talent that exists in West Lothian, and wishes all the young musicians all the very best with their music in the future.
