That the Parliament congratulates Ciaran Roberts-Osterberg, who is from Dundee, on being awarded a placement at Berklee College of Music in Boston; understands that the 19-year-old multi-instrumentalist and singer has won critical acclaim and gained the support of the international star, Curtis Stigers, as well as an endorsement from Grammy-winning musician, Antonio Sanchez; notes that Ciaran is raising the £55,000 required to pay for his tuition fees by launching a fundraising campaign at the Inchyra Arts Café at which he will play alongside the acclaimed jazz saxophonist, Gordon McNeil, with all the proceeds from this going towards this, and wishes Ciaran all the best with the concert, his studies in the United States and his musical career.
