That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish Huntington's Association in Shettleston on receiving a £249,708 grant from The National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will use the funding to continue its youth project supporting young people aged from eight to 25 who have a diagnosis of Huntington’s disease (HD) in their family; acknowledges that the young people will receive support through a range of interventions, including 1:1 support, advice and information about living with HD, peer support through group work, residential camps and social activities, and welcomes that the two-year project will support 110 young people and their parents/carers.
