  • Motion reference: S5M-16109

That the Parliament congratulates the Hazlehead Academy Youth Work Team on being nominated for the Team of the Year award at the YouthLink Scotland 2019 National Youth Work Awards; understands that the team helps pupils be the best version of themselves as they can be and provides invaluable support through daily drop-in sessions, running the LGBT+ Alliance Group and supporting the Mentors in Violence Prevention programme; notes that the team also encourages young people to get out of their comfort zone by going on trips and showcasing work in front of other people; understands that the event takes place on 13 March 2019 at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow, and passes on its best wishes to the team, all of the nominees, and to YouthLink Scotland for a successful event.
