Dr Jenny Preston Awarded Royal College of Occupational Therapists Fellowship 2019

That the Parliament congratulates Dr Jenny Preston MBE on her recent award of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Fellowship 2019; notes that the fellowship awards are the highest honours that the college can bestow on its members in recognition of the outstanding contribution that they have made to the occupational therapy profession; recognises Dr Preston's significant and innovative service during her 35-year NHS career, including her current role as Consultant Occupational Therapist and Clinical Lead Neurological Rehabilitation at NHS Ayrshire and Arran; notes her contribution as Co-Chair of Neurological Rehabilitation Subgroup of the National Advisory Committee for Neurological Conditions, which supports the development of national policy in this important area of health care; commends Dr Preston for her crucial work as a member of Health Improvement Scotland's Advisory Group for Neurological Standards, and thanks her for her dedicated service to the NHS and the health and wellbeing of the people of Ayrshire and Arran.
