Bramble Brae Business Breakfast

  • Submitted by: Mark McDonald, Aberdeen Donside, Independent.
  • Date lodged: Thursday, 31 January 2019
  • Motion reference: S5M-15675

That the Parliament congratulates the P7 pupils of Bramble Brae School on their organisation of a business breakfast to help them discuss their future career options and learn more about the world of work; understands that the event was attended by 15 different companies from across a range of employment sectors and featured a guest speech from Mary Holland of Developing the Young Workforce North East; believes that the pupils designed business cards and arranged for catering from Hallmark Hotel and the local charity, CFINE; commends all involved in showing an interest in learning more about career opportunities, and hopes that the event stands the pupils well as they take forward their education at Bramble Brae and beyond.
