Points of Light Award for Bravehound CEO, Fiona Macdonald

That the Parliament congratulates Fiona Macdonald, CEO of Bravehound, on receiving her Points of Light award from the Prime Minister; understands that Fiona has been awarded this for her outstanding work as the founder of the Bravehound initiative, which pairs veterans with companion dogs as part of rehabilitative therapy; considers that ongoing support through this project has been of immense benefit to veterans, especially those with PTSD; notes that, in 2017, Bravehound was voted the UK’s best voluntary project at the National Lottery Awards, and is a finalist in the 2019 Soldiering On Awards; recognises that Fiona is also the founder of Glen Art, which assists armed forces personnel returning to civilian life through artistic events, and wishes Fiona the very best with her future endeavours.
