That the Parliament congratulates the Broomhouse Centre on its recent success in securing £102,331 of lottery funding; recognises that the centre will use the funding to continue to provide its youth befriending service for five- to 16-year-olds in the south west of Edinburgh who are affected by parental substance misuse; appreciates that this service aims to provide a reliable consistent adult influence in the child's life and to help improve emotional wellbeing, encourage social interaction and promote successful engagement with education; thanks the Broomhouse Centre for all of the work that it undertakes to support people in Broomhouse, Parkhead and Sighthill, and wishes everyone involved all the best for the future.
