That the Parliament celebrates the success of Communities Along the Carron Association (CATCA), a volunteer community group dedicated to regenerating the River Carron and the 16 communities along it; notes that CATCA has been involved in education, community engagement, connecting communities and physical transformation of the river and its communities and has been instrumental in undertaking conservation, community gardening, improving green spaces and reducing litter and fly-tipping as part of its voluntary work; understands that CATCA, through Christine Bell and Fraser Johnston, was responsible for bringing the Cycling Without Age project to Falkirk district, which is now in the process of being rolled out across Scotland; understands that Ian Howarth has been chair of the association since 2009 and officially stood down from this position at the 2018 AGM on 1 November; commends Ian for his hard work, dedication and commitment to CATCA and in overseeing its work, as well as in playing a key role in contributing to the success of CATCA over the years; wishes him the very best for the future, and looks forward to working with CATCA to produce more success in the years to come.
