That the Parliament welcomes the Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) No Wrong Path campaign; understands that the campaign aims to provide support to young people who will be receiving their examination results in summer 2018 and facing decisions about their futures; notes that DYW groups in the Highlands and Islands and across Scotland are encouraging the use of the #nowrongpath hashtag to publicise the message that career goals can be reached through a wide variety of paths; recognises the breadth of options for young people looking to enter employment, further and higher education or training, and welcomes measures to provide high-quality advice and guidance to young people about their careers.
