That the Parliament congratulates Netball Orkney on three of its members making the under-17 national netball squad; understands that Zara Flett, Robin Gordon and Kristi Rendall will now play for Scotland in the upcoming season and that this will involve competing in the 2018 U-17 European Championships, to be held in Gormanston Park, in County Meath, Republic of Ireland; commends this achievement, as it considers that it demonstrates the consistent high standard produced by Netball Orkney; recognises the hard work and dedication required to be chosen to represent Scotland at this level, and wishes all three players and the Scotland team every success in the new season.
