That the Parliament is enthused that the Dollar Community Development Trust has lodged an application with the local authority for a defibrillator (AED) to be placed outside the Lloyds Pharmacy in the town's Bridge Street; acknowledges that a similar life-saving device was installed in Alloa in 2017; notes that funds for this project come would come from a Foundation Scotland grant through the EDF Burnfoot Hill Community Fund and that the trust is working with guidance from the Scottish Ambulance Service; understands that the trust has published figures that highlight how cardiac arrest kills 2,000 people in the UK every week with 80% of deaths occurring out of hospital, and wishes all at the trust the very best of luck with the application process.
