  • Submitted by: Alexander Stewart, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 20 December 2017
  • Motion reference: S5M-09706

That the Parliament welcomes the news that an Alloa company has decided to donate gifts to Forth Valley Hospital Children’s Ward; understands that the OFGEM-accredited energy comparison website, Energylinx, decided to exchange its annual secret Santa tradition for a more rewarding gesture; believes that an adviser with the company, Holly Jenkins, suggested donating gifts to Forth Valley Children’s Ward and that this received unanimous agreement from the management and staff; notes that the money that would normally be collected was put into a donation pot and that the company doubled the amount that the staff collected, and commends the company on its magnanimous gesture.
