That the Parliament congratulates staff and customers of Tesco in Linwood on raising £1,300 to buy a specialised chair for nine-year-old Harris Docherty; understands that Harris, who is from Houston, has the genetic disorder, Angelman syndrome, which primarily affects the nervous system, causing delayed development, severe speech impairment and problems with movement and balance; notes that the store was impressed by Harris’s courage in facing up to his illness, and hopes that his new chair will allow him to sit more comfortably.
