That the Parliament congratulates the winners of the Scottish Multi-Class Regatta, which took place at Castle Semple Loch; understands that the competition is part of the ongoing legacy of Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth Games; notes that, after four races, the Hansa 303 double class was won by Darren McGregor and Jamie Cairns, with Mick Kelly and Lewis Nicolson finishing second and Shannon McGhee and Laura Carrock in third; further notes that the winning group represented Scotland West at the Special Olympics in Sheffield in summer 2017, bringing home two silver medals and a bronze, and wishes Sailability Scotland, which is an independent Scottish charity, continued success as it works to improve and develop opportunities for the integration and support of disabled people into the sport of sailing.
