Clackmannanshire Business Owner Donates to Autism Scotland

  • Submitted by: Alexander Stewart, Mid Scotland and Fife, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 27 September 2017
  • Motion reference: S5M-07956

That the Parliament welcomes the news that a Clackmannanshire business owner is encouraging other bosses to forge links with charities and give something back to the community; notes that the property developer, Ewan Campbell, owner of Inglewood House Hotel and Spa in Alloa, has been supporting locally-based Scottish Autism and the specialist New Struan School for more than a year now, donating close to £3,000; further notes that, along with Ceteris Ltd, Ewan organised and hosted the 2016 Clackmannanshire Business Week lunch with proceeds going to the charity's school; believes Ewan had asked family and friends not to buy him any birthday presents this year but make a donation to Scottish Autism instead, and wishes him the very best of luck with all his future fundraising and acts of community generosity.
