That the Parliament congratulates Glasgow City Mission on its new "housing first" initiative; understands that the charity plans to buy houses for its most vulnerable clients and ensure that the support that people need to maintain their tenancies is provided; believes that similar schemes have proved a success when operating in North America and Scandinavia; commends the boldness of the initiative to tackle what it sees as the worsening problem of homelessness in Glasgow, and wishes the initiative and the people that it seeks to assist every success.
