Harbro Raises Over £131,000 to Mark 40 Years in Business

That the Parliament congratulates the Turriff-based company, Harbro, on raising over £131,000 for charity to mark its 40th year in business; understands that, initially, the company hoped to raise £40,000 to mark the milestone; recognises that the four main charities to benefit from the funds raised are Kidney Kids Scotland, Junior Diabetes Research Foundation, British Heart Foundation and CLAN Cancer Support, which will each receive over £28,000; acknowledges that the remaining money will be distributed between 18 charities across Scotland nominated by the company’s regional offices and country stores; commends the Chairman, Peter Kenyon, the Managing Director, Graham Baxter, and their staff on marking the company milestone in such a thoughtful manner, and wishes Harbro well.
