That the Parliament congratulates all at Fisherrow Yacht Club (FYC) on being awarded Recognised Training Centre status by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA); understands that FYC is now permitted to award internationally-recognised RYA certification to trainee sailors who attend courses through the club, covering subjects such as practical dingy sailing and nautical first aid; further understands that training is available to club members from the age of eight, with no upper age limit for adults, and acknowledges the enthusiasm of the team of volunteers who support the development of training and ensure that FYC remains an important community asset to the town of Musselburgh.
