That the Parliament congratulates Brechin Community Cinema on its award of over £12,000 from the Rural Leader Fund, which it will use to fund 90% of the cost of new cinema equipment; recognises the cinema project provides an affordable and accessible film going experience and supports Brechin City Hall, and notes that it is hoped that an increase in footfall will attract a wider range of diverse activities and ensure the longevity of both the hall and the cinema.
