That the Parliament congratulates the winners of the Greenock Telegraph’s Community Champion Awards 2017, which were hosted at the Greenock Town Hall; notes that David Faller won the Entrepreneurial Award, Lesley McLaren the Champion Teacher Award, Robert Whaley the Community Champion of the Year Award, Amy Shearer the Youth Community Champion Award, Riverside Youth Band the Live Music Award, Rachel Way the Heart of Gold Award, Tommy Armstrong the Charity Champion of the Year Award, Caitlyn Haldane the Sporting Champion of the Year Award, Victoria Hamilton the Young Enterprise Champion Award, Erica Noone the Judges Special Recognition Award and Nathan Mowat, Olivia Thomson and Lucy McLellan won Little Champions of the Year Award; commends the contribution of all the winners and nominees, and wishes them continued success in the future.
