That the Parliament congratulates all the winners of the NHS Lothian Celebrating Success Awards 2017; notes that Tracey Pearson, a learning disability nurse from Wester Hailes Health Living Centre was named Health Hero in an award sponsored by the Edinburgh Evening News, Kate Triscott, a complex needs school nurse from Musselburgh Primary Care Centre was Caring Champion of the Year, Moira Kinnear was Educator of the Year in an award sponsored by the University of Edinburgh, St John’s Hospital catering team was Team of the Year, William Johnston, a clinical support worker at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, was Staff Member of the Year in an award sponsored by Napier University, Aileen Banks, a breastfeeding peer supporter with Midlothian Peer Supporters won the Voluntary Service award, Lynn Jackson, a charge nurse at St John’s Hospital, was Nurse of the Year, the Flow Centre at Woodlands House at the Astley Ainslie won Best Example of Innovation, Quality and Productivity, Jessie Anderson of Edinburgh Access Practice won the Respect for Others award and Andrew O’Donnell, of the Spittal Street clinic, won the Improving Patient Access award; commends the contribution of all the winners and nominees and all others working hard in the NHS across Lothian, and wishes them continued success in the future.
