That the Parliament welcomes the actions of Steven Smith, who is a coach driver from Dunfermline, who managed to bring his bus safely to a stop despite having a heart attack at the wheel; understands that Steven was carrying 49 members of the Elizabethan Pars Supporters Club home from a recent Dunfermline Athletic match in Dumfries when he started experiencing chest pains and tunnel vision; notes however that he was able to steer the vehicle off the road before he lost consciousness; applauds the team's physio, Kenny Murray, who was travelling minutes behind, for springing into action when, along with another coach driver, he helped Steven to recover by using a defibrillator and oxygen equipment until an ambulance arrived, and wishes Steven all the very best for a speedy and complete recovery.
