Emma Guthrie Supports Girls at UN Event in the Big Apple

That the Parliament recognises Emma Guthrie for her representation of Girlguiding Scotland on 24 March 2017 at the UN Women - 61st Commission on the Status of Women conference (CSW); recognises CSW to be the principal global policy-making body specifically related to gender equality and the advancement of women; further recognises Girlguiding Scotland as the country’s leading charity for girls and young women, offering them new experiences, the chance to grow in full confidence, discover their full potential and be a force for good in the world, and wishes Emma success in advocating for the rights of girls and young women and directly engaging with decision makers at the CSW conference.
