Congratulations to the Climate Challenge Fund Projects in Mid Scotland and Fife

That the Parliament congratulates the 16 projects in Mid Scotland and Fife that have been awarded a total of £1.42 million from the Climate Challenge Fund; notes the important role that these groups play in helping communities reduce their carbon footprint by supporting local food growing, reducing waste through composting and repairing, increasing cooking skills, widening access to cycling and improving cycle skills, improving household energy efficiency and raising awareness of climate change in the wider community, and wishes the projects, which are Tullibody Healthy Living, Methilhill Community Children’s Initiative, Tayport Community Trust, St Andrews Environmental Network, The Ecology Centre, Kirkcaldy Central Mosque, Greener Kirkcaldy, Falkland Stewardship Trust, Gallatown Bike Hub, Erich Trust, Tayside Growers Co-op, Central Scotland Regional Equality Council, Forth Environment Link, Transition Stirling, Dunblane Development Trust and McLaren Community Leisure Centre, all the best for their year-long funding in 2017-18.
