That the Parliament congratulates Cheryl Clark, an Improvement Advisor Midwife with NHS Lanarkshire, on her award of Quality Improvement Champion at the Quality Improvement Awards 2016; understands that Cheryl was given the award for teaching quality improvement by example and strengthening it within the neonatal unit, in which she is based; further notes that Cheryl adopts an interesting, fun and innovative approach to demonstrating data with her patient safety boards and newsletters, in addition to using social media forums for midwives to communicate aspects of the safety work; believes that the work done by Cheryl is an example of the many fantastic pieces of work being undertaken by dedicated and innovating health care workers in Scotland, and wishes Cheryl all the very best for the future.
