That the Parliament recognises the important milestone of its 50th anniversary that is being celebrated by Noble Primary School in Bellshill over the coming weeks; understands that the school was opened on 21 November 1966 and named after a head teacher of the former Bellshill Public School, Mr Alexander John Noble; notes that it was a modern and vibrant school when it was built, with 16 classes that could accommodate 680 pupils, underfloor heating and a fully equipped kitchen; further notes that the school continues to grow from strength to strength; acknowledges that, as a means of commemorating this special anniversary, pupils from all 10 classes will be involved in an inter-disciplinary showcase of learning about aspects of life in the 1960s and the connection with modern-day learning; wishes the school well on its special celebration, and hopes that the school, its pupils, staff and the wider school community continue to enjoy many more special anniversaries and success in the years ahead.
