That the Parliament notes that Edinburgh’s National Museum of Scotland (NMS) is hosting the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition from 16 September 2016 to 19 February 2017; is aware that this prestigious photography event, the culmination of the largest wildlife photography competition of its kind in the world, which attracts more than 40,000 entries globally, sees the 100 award-winning images being displayed at the museum; welcomes the sponsorship of the exhibition by Morton Fraser Lawyers through Arts & Business Scotland; congratulates the museum and its staff for hosting this informative and visually impressive exhibition, and hopes many people in Lothian and across Scotland, as well as visitors and tourists from further afield, will take the time to visit it and enjoy the world-class wildlife photographs on display.
