That the Parliament celebrates the launch of new Friday Drop-In sessions by Common Wheel, a Glasgow-based charity that supports people who are recovering from significant mental health trauma through creative and community-based programmes; recognises that the initiative expands Common Wheel’s reach by offering a welcoming weekly space for connection, creativity and healing, with activities ranging from yoga, music and art to cooking, crafts and community excursions; acknowledges that Common Wheel, which supports over 250 individuals each year through its established 12-week programmes, developed the drop-ins in direct response to participant feedback, further strengthening its person-centred approach to recovery; further acknowledges the vital contribution of the Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust, whose £6,900 donation completed the £24,760 funding target, enabling this expansion to go ahead, and congratulates Common Wheel, its staff, volunteers and supporters on their continued dedication to improving mental health outcomes in Glasgow and for creating what it sees as a compassionate and creative space that brings renewed hope to those rebuilding their lives.
