That the Parliament congratulates Robert Marshall, who will turn 70 in November 2025, on completing the West Highland Way for the 100th time; recognises this as an extraordinary milestone, given that the route spans 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William and is one of Scotland’s most iconic long-distance trails; commends Robert’s perseverance, dedication and love for Scotland’s landscapes; acknowledges his outstanding fundraising efforts, having raised thousands of pounds for the West Highland Way Trust, helping to support and maintain the route for future generations, and wishes Robert many more safe and fulfilling journeys on the West Highland Way in the years ahead.
