That the Parliament welcomes the continued development of the Solway Coast and Marine Project (SCAMP), a Dumfries and Galloway Council-led initiative that aims to restore and protect coastal and marine habitats along the Solway Firth; recognises the importance of Stranraer and Loch Ryan as key sites for biodiversity restoration, including native oyster beds and seagrass meadows; commends the project's community engagement efforts, which include the SCAMP picnic and discussion events held at the Old Harbour Master’s office in Stranraer; acknowledges the role of local "coastodians" in shaping nature-based solutions to climate change and sea-level rise, and wishes SCAMP all the best in promoting nature-based tourism and green investment opportunities in the region.
