That the Parliament congratulates New Rhythms for Glasgow and the Golden Oldies group on the creation of the Sighthill Guided Audio Walk, an hour-long audio tour capturing the rich history, culture and lived experiences of the Sighthill community; recognises what it sees as the power of this creative project in telling the story of a community undergoing one of the UK’s largest regeneration schemes; applauds the honesty, humour and heartfelt storytelling from residents who have called Sighthill home for decades; acknowledges what it believes to be the important role of community organisations like New Rhythms for Glasgow in fostering connection and preserving local heritage, and wishes all involved every success at the public launch event on 3 July 2025 and in future community-led initiatives.
