That the Parliament congratulates the outstanding efforts of the Glasgow office of property consultancy, Fisher German, which is taking part in a 200-mile fundraising challenge as part of the firm’s national Big 25 initiative aimed at raising at least £25,000 for 25 charities to mark the company’s 25th anniversary; acknowledges that the Glasgow team has chosen to support Simon Community Scotland, a charity that it believes plays a vital role in helping people experiencing homelessness by providing practical support and pathways to stability; understands that the team is undertaking the trek from Doncaster to Newcastle by foot and bicycle covering 204 miles without the use of motorised transport; further understands that all funds raised, up to a total of £25,000, will be match-funded by Fisher German, potentially delivering £50,000 in support of vulnerable individuals across the UK; congratulates Fisher German and Simon Community Scotland on their partnership, and commends their collective commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those most in need.
