That the Parliament congratulates Sauchie Community Group on being named Community Group of the Year at the 2025 Clackmannanshire’s Volunteers’ Award Ceremony; recognises what it sees as the group’s outstanding contribution to community life in Sauchie over the past 33 years; commends its wide-ranging programme of activities based at Sauchie Resource Centre, including Tiny Tots, carpet bowls, the SCG Choir, Scatoosh singing group, Thank You for the Music, film club, gardening group, art club, soup and sandwich lunches, the Chatty Latte club, monthly meetings and more; acknowledges the group’s role in hosting large-scale community events such as the month-long Festival of Lights at Christmas and Gig in the Garden in the community garden, which is also owned and maintained by the group for the benefit of local residents, and thanks Sauchie Community Group for the positive difference that it continues to make to the lives of hundreds of people in the Sauchie area each month.
